The vast majority of the area is suitable for wheelchair/pram access, dogs on leads are also welcome. As well as the main grassy area, there are some dunes leading to Formby beach, which are suitable for dogs.

There are a number of areas suitable for a picnic, so bring a picnic and make it a day out. :)
